As Account Based Marketing Lead you will be responsible for developing and managing the roll-out and implementation of our ABM strategy, to drive defined ABM objectives in line with agreed annual plans. Your work will encompass end-to-end account-based marketing, including, when needed, pursuit marketing. 

 What you will do in this role, is divided into the following:

 Strategical perspective

  • Invent, design, develop, execute and drive our ABM-plan.
  • Head the ABM activities, proactively working both with the planning and the activation of the ABM efforts end-to-end. 
  • Work closely with the account sales and delivery teams, and support their objectives for the respective accounts.
  • Recommend marketing strategies and approaches to support account objectives and drive them, i.e. understand sales processes and objectives of the accounts.
  • Provide proactive, structured, long-term strategic marketing support
  • Track, measure and report on all ABM activity based on Sales KPIs and successes.
  • Align strategy and activities with company’s inbound marketing strategy and activities.


Tactical perspective

  • Generate leads!
  • Track, organize and reach out to companies and individuals of interest. 
  • Smart lead-nurturing
    • Monitor customer activities and generate customer insights in our CRM system.
    • Identify and create relevant content for the right individuals through the right channel at the right time based on their activities.
    • Create content - webinar, videos, written content, etc.
  • Assess leads, have discussions with leads (overall tech and business) and judge when to be handed over to sales.
  • Manage supporting systems - Funnelbud (Sharpspring).
  • Plan and organize outbound marketing campaigns - targeted campaigns for certain companies (linkedin, Wechat etc).

You will report to the Marketing Director.


What you´ll bring:

To be successful in this role you have 5+ years of experience within the area of marketing and communications and an academic degree within Business and Marketing or relevant experience. You have worked with account based marketing in some form and with pursuit marketing. If you have worked with sales, it is considered a plus. Working with digital marketing and technology comes natural to you.

With the experience you have you know how to articulate and influence both stakeholders and team. It comes easy to you how to prioritize, focus and balance the workload in a dynamic environment. You know how to coach and present to inspire people around you.

You have experience in competitive research, and most marketing domains. As well as experience and understanding of marketing ROI, marketing KPI’s and how to drive them.

Worth knowing

The position is a permanent full-time employment, starting as soon as possible with regard for notice period.

The role is located in Uppsala, Sweden.
